HIGH CONTENT CELLULAR SCREENING WORKSHOP 2008 - Research Instruments is proud to be the diamond sponsor for this event to be held in Singapore from 12 - 14 November 2008. High Content Cellular Screening (HCS) refers to the measurement and analysis of multi-parametric cellular phenotypes at the level of the individual cell. It is rapidly becoming a major genomics tool for complex functional genomic screens. The complex infrastructure needs for conducting HCS experiments require understanding of topics across the disciplines of biology, chemistry, physics and computer science.

AFFYMETRIX INTEGRATED GENOMICS SOLUTION SEMINAR 22 SEPTEMBER 2008 - This event was held at the Matrix Building in Biopolis Singapore and has attracted more than 80 researchers to attend. Experts from Affymetrix discussed topics such as whole transcipt gene expression, genotyping and cytogenetics solution. Local research scientists, Prof Jean-Pierre Thiery and Mr Chee Seng KU were also invited to share their experiences on using the Affymetrix platform in their research studies.

THERMO SCIENTIFIC SPECTROSCOPY SIMPLIFIED SEMINAR 9 SEPTEMBER 2008 - We have a very successful launch of the all-new Thermo Scientific iS10, iZ10, iN10 and DXR Raman spectrometers at our seminar held in Grand Copthorne Waterfront Conference Centre.
