NanoTechnology GmbH (Germany) is the world's leading manufacturer of UHV scanning
probe microscopes. The range includes STM, combined with STM/AFM, variable temperature
AFM/STM from 25-1500K, low temperature STM (5K) and a cryogenic SFM. SPMs may
be purchased either as bolt-on units with SCALA software or as part of a complete
package including a UHV system. Other products include NanoSAM, a photoemission
electron microscope (PEEM), the EA125 hemispherical analyser and a variety of
components including ion guns, evaporators and sources. Omicron also produces
a wide range of complete UHV systems suitable for SPM, ESCA, MBE and other related
